The Nike Air Max Lunar 1 Hyperfuse is a reinvention of the brand's flagship runner, the Air Max 1. It features a contemporary design layout with a retro look. The upper's seamless Hyperfuse construction is made up of a black, white, and charcoal makeup. This look is contrasted by the Volt midsole, which sports black speckling.

The shoe provides cushioning through a mix of Lunarlon and Air. It also incorporates a lightweight lunar midsole while keeping the air max unit intact. The shoes are lighter and more breathable than a regular Air Max 1 as a result of the lunar sole and materials on the upper. The toebox shape is also great, nice and pointy right out of the box.

In some versions, such as the Air Max Lunar1 Jacquard Winter & Light Ash Grey, it features jacquard woven uppers, a visible air heel unit and Nike's Lunarlon technology foam cushioning the midsole. This provides lightweight springy support and a snug fit for incredible comfort.
